Our story is founded in our people. Each with their own individual backgrounds, whether it be surfing, fishing, spearfishing, or diving, our team shares a common love and passion for the ocean. We understand the insatiable pull of the sea and the need to get out there quickly and efficiently when the opportunities present themselves. It has always been a dream to build boats designed to meet our own requirements. The perfect fishing boat. The perfect dive boat. The perfect surf vessel. One of a kind custom boats, designed to navigate our local waters and beyond, equipped with every bell and whistle we can imagine. We are proud to introduce the team that we've assembled to bring this dream to life. Each who plays a crucial role in our operation, allowing us to execute every aspect of production in-house from start to finish. The end result- we can ensure a product that meets exact specifications and exceeds expectations- every time.
The Ringmaster
David Russian
​As a passionate spearfisherman with over 30 years of experience free-diving not only our local waters, but across the globe, David is no stranger to the game. He has spent more than enough time in and on the water to know what he wants out of a boat. As a businessman and entrepreneur, his passion for finding properties with potential and turning them into people's dream homes, led to his success in real estate as a general contractor and builder. This got him thinking...

A lifelong surfer who lives and breathes the ocean, Marty has spent years riding waves and soaking up sun, he has a genuine love for the surf community and all its vibes. But Marty isn’t just about catching the perfect wave; he also brings a ton of business savvy to the table. He’s built successful teams and businesses over the years, always ready to lend a hand and share his expertise. What really sets Marty apart is his passion for helping customers reach their dreams. He’s all about delivering on his promises and making sure everyone has a great experience. Whether he’s out in the surf or navigating the business world, Marty is all about good times and making things happen!
Operations Manager
Kindra King
Well-versed in fishing machines, Kindra has spent most of the past decade fishing both the local Channel Islands and offshore from Ventura to San Diego. She manages all of our day to day operations at the yard. Her passion and experience in the fishing industry has developed her keen eye for what's most valuable in a boat from the waterman and angler perspective.

Sylvestre Martinez
A very skilled and experienced boat builder, Sylvester is a local legend in our community. If you have heard of him, you know his reputation proceeds him. He has has spent the majority of his life building boats. With over 20 years of experience working for Bill Anderson alone, he has put in the time to really hone in his abilities and perfect his craft. He is extremely skilled, precise, and has streamlined his process. There is no one we trust more to engineer and produce the types of boats we are building.

Canelo
Sylvester's shadow and our mascot, Canelo brightens everyone's day here at the yard. It's his yard and we're all just working in it. When he's not napping in the sun or under the boats, you'll find him getting into all kinds of mischief- chasing balls, climbing ladders, and if you're in range, watch out because he might just snag the pencil out of your hand or the hat right off your head! Canelo loves the yard so much in fact, he often doesn't want to leave. Like clockwork, when the guys punch out and it's time to go home, he finds a spot just out of reach under one of the boats where he proceeds to lay down and play dead, waiting patiently for Sylvester to come scoop him up and carry him to the truck. If you're ever here at the end of the day. You might just get lucky enough to see this little performance. In which case, we guarantee you're in for a good laugh.
Mechanic
Matt Harvill
Matt is a trusted, reliable mechanic and certified outboard specialist well-versed in serving our local community and beyond. He attended school in Georgia and is Yamaha V Engine Certified-- with certifications from Honda, Mercury Marine, Evinrude and Suzuki as well. With over 15 years of experience working on outboard engines, along with his 100 Ton Captains License and close ties to the community, Matt is a huge asset to our business both on and off the water.
